Our company has been extremely successful and 2002 saw two massive moves. One a literal move into much larger, fully renovated premises in Cashel St, which included warehousing space. The second was a figurative move to the summit of the industry when we were awarded the biggest industry prize, the APPA Grand Prix award for introducing “Thunderstix” to New Zealand.

More recently the ownership changed with Matt Withers joining Derek Manning to propel the company forward into a new era of growth.

This has seen the introduction of an internet-based operating system that allows our clients to see exactly where their job is in the production cycle.

BRIGHT SPARKS AROUND NEW ZEALAND AND THE WORLD

Over the last 15 years Bright Sparks has grown in terms of sophistication but also in terms of physical size to the point that Bright Sparks is one of the forerunners in the promotional industry in New Zealand.

We opened an Auckland office in 1998 and have been operating from premises in Parnell since then.

This was followed by a Bright Sparks Dunedin office in 2004 that operates from premises in Mornington, Dunedin.

In a typical year, staff travel to Hong Kong and China, for WAGE meetings and attend the large trade shows held in these countries.
As with most industries Europe and the USA remain at the forefront in terms of marketing and design so a trip to both happens every couple of years.
