Official Merchandiser for Ellerslie International Flower Show
 Bright Sparks took a new direction in 2009, with their appointment as the official merchandise supplier for New Zealand's premier flower and garden show in Christchurch.
In collaboration with Dave Mee and SMC Events, Bright Sparks was excited to take the opportunity to develop a relationship, in bringing to Christchurch, a major event on the national calendar. With SMC Events past experience in organizing large events, they were looking for a partner capable of bringing to the market the skills in selecting and selling a range of appealing products for the show.
Several focus groups were surveyed to find the most appealing range of merchandise to be made available. Finally a selection of product was sourced both locally and internationally, for sale in the dedicated marquee set up by the Bright Sparks team. Using the specially designed Ellerslie logo, the selection of merchandise included tea towels, umbrellas, garden hats, glassware, garden aprons, coffee mugs, pens, sunscreen, and much more. The Ellerslie Show proved an absolute winner with the total visitor numbers exceeding 76,000.
